Peds Board Focus is designed for pediatric residents, board candidates, fellows, practicing pediatricians, and internationally trained physicians who want to strengthen their pediatric knowledge, clinical reasoning, and board examination readiness. Our educational resources are designed to support physicians at different stages of their professional journey.
Our programs focus on the core knowledge, clinical reasoning, MCQ, OSCE, and oral examination skills relevant to pediatric board and certification examinations. Our educational approach can support candidates preparing for Canadian and international pediatric examinations, including the Royal College, Saudi Board, Arab Board, and other pediatric certification pathways.
Peds Board Focus emphasizes understanding and clinical reasoning rather than memorization alone. We integrate high-yield pediatric knowledge with board-style MCQs, clinical cases, structured approaches, OSCE and oral examination preparation, and practical examination strategies, helping you understand not only the correct answer, but how to think through the case.
Yes. Our self-paced courses are designed for busy physicians and trainees, allowing you to study according to your own schedule and progress through the material at a pace that works for you. Our comprehensive self-paced courses will be released in 2027 so you can be ready for your exams on that year and afterward! Also, Peds Board Focus offers now free educational board-preparation webinars, including weekly OSCE Prep Webinars beginning in November 2026 and weekly MCQ Prep Webinars beginning in January 2027. All live webinars will be recorded and made available for later viewing to Peds Board Focus members through our YouTube channel, giving you the flexibility to revisit sessions or catch up if you are unable to attend live.
The courses work together as a progressive learning pathway: build your pediatric foundation with Essential Knowledge, apply it through board-style MCQs, and strengthen your clinical approach with OSCE & Oral Preparation.Courses are available individually or in bundles, with flexible access options of 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year to fit your preparation needs.
Our live webinars provide interactive board-focused teaching. OSCE sessions explore clinical scenarios, structured approaches, communication, and oral examination performance, while MCQ sessions use board-style questions to teach clinical reasoning, diagnostic clues, management decisions, and common examination pitfalls.
Mock examinations provide an opportunity to assess your preparation in a more exam-focused format. Live Virtual Mock OSCEs simulate clinical examination scenarios and include personalized feedback, while Mock MCQs allow you to evaluate your knowledge, clinical reasoning, and areas requiring further review.
Consultations are personalized to your goals and may include board readiness, study strategy, clinical reasoning, MCQ performance, OSCE and oral examination preparation, clinical communication, professional development, career planning, and Canadian or international licensing guidance
