Dr. Donna Duaa Alromaili,
MD, FRCPC, LMCC, M.Ed, MBA
Consultant Pediatrician
Dr. Alromaili is a Consultant Pediatrician with more than 15 years of experience in pediatric medicine, clinical leadership, medical education, and healthcare operations. She is certified in Pediatrics by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC), and is a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC).
Her postgraduate training includes certification by the Arab Board and Saudi Board in General Pediatrics, followed by subspecialty training and Saudi Board certification in Pediatric Nephrology and Transplant Nephrology. She completed an advanced Clinical Fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), University of Toronto, one of the world’s leading pediatric centres for clinical care, education, and research.
Dr. Alromaili has practiced pediatrics since 2012 and has worked within the Canadian healthcare system since 2018 across Ontario and New Brunswick. She currently provides pediatric care through multiple clinics in Ontario while maintaining an active visiting pediatric practice in Saudi Arabia.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Alromaili holds both a Master of Education (M.Ed.) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). She has also completed executive education in Clinical Operations and Healthcare Leadership at Harvard Business School. Her unique combination of clinical expertise, educational training, and leadership experience enables her to mentor physicians at every stage of their professional journey, from residency and board preparation to establishing independent pediatric practice.
As Co-Founder of Peds Board Focus, Dr. Alromaili is passionate about simplifying complex pediatric concepts and helping physicians develop strong clinical reasoning, confidence, and excellence in patient care. Through evidence-based teaching, personalized mentorship, and practical guidance, she is committed to empowering pediatricians worldwide to succeed in board examinations and throughout their professional careers.

Consultant Pediatrician
Prof. Muhammad Azam is a Consultant Pediatrician, Clinical Lead for Paediatric Services (Head of Department) at Wexford General Hospital, Ireland, and a distinguished medical educator with a longstanding commitment to clinical excellence, physician development, and postgraduate medical education.
He is certified in Pediatrics by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC), the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (FRCPI), and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH). His academic appointments include Honorary Clinical Professor of Paediatrics at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and Clinical Associate Professor of Paediatrics at University College Dublin (UCD).
Since 2012, Prof. Azam has worked periodically as a Visiting Consultant Paediatrician in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, gaining extensive experience within the Canadian healthcare system and contributing to paediatric clinical care, medical education, and trainee supervision. This international experience has provided him with valuable insight into both Canadian and Irish healthcare systems and has further strengthened his expertise in clinical leadership, acute paediatrics, neonatal care, and postgraduate medical training.
Prof. Azam plays an active role in shaping pediatric training and assessment at a national level through his positions as Board Member of Examinations (MRCPI Paediatrics) and Board Member of the Faculty of Paediatrics, Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI).
As Co-Founder of Peds Board Focus, Prof. Azam combines extensive clinical experience with a passion for teaching and mentorship. Renowned for his clear, structured, and practical approach to learning, he helps pediatricians master complex concepts, strengthen clinical reasoning, and develop the confidence required to excel in board examinations and clinical practice.
Over the course of his career, he has mentored medical students, residents, fellows, and internationally trained physicians, many of whom have progressed to consultant and specialist positions across Ireland, Canada, the United Kingdom, and beyond. His mission is to empower the next generation of pediatricians through high-quality education, evidence-based learning, and personalized career guidance.
